The Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas (IETU) hosted the kick-off meeting for the CICADA4CE project, gathering project partners to discuss the activities planned for the next 30 months.
During the meeting, project partners outlined their roles and responsibilities, ensuring a collaborative approach towards the project’s objectives.
A highlight of the meeting was the visit to Sosnowiec, where one of the small-scale projects will be implemented. This initiative will involve teachers, students, and parents from a local school working together to identify and execute interventions aimed at demonstrating effective adaptation strategies to climate change. The hands-on involvement of the school community is expected to foster practical and sustainable solutions, serving as a model for future projects
