A new GIS platform is under development as part of the H2CE project, set to enhance decision support and strategic planning for public authorities across Europe. The prototype will be piloted in the Veneto region, where Unioncamere del Veneto (UCV) has completed data collection, amassing over 2,500 records.
This GIS database modelling environment will be integrated into the H2CE collaboration platform (WP3) and made accessible to external stakeholders. The current phase involves data assessment and analysis, including the integration of statistical regional data, transitioning consumption data to H2 demand, geo-localizing records, and developing detailed maps.
This platform will be a key resource for planning and implementing hydrogen-based energy solutions in the region.
