The GreenScape CE project’s lead partner, REGEA (Regionalna energetsko-klimatska agencija Sjeverozapadne Hrvatske), hosted a successful event in Zagreb as part of the Urban Forum 2024. The event featured a dynamic workshop that highlighted the project’s key missions and accomplishments, focusing on enhancing urban environments through green infrastructure. Miljenko Sedlar, head of the Climate Department at REGEA, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of creating a Local Action Plan for promoting Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in Zagreb. The workshop provided networking opportunities for over 35 attendees, including local authorities, NGOs, SMEs, and community representatives, to discuss topics such as bio-solar roofs, green connectivity, and technical challenges. Participants also contributed to a Slido feedback session on green infrastructure and urban planning. The event was a significant step in turning ideas into action, and REGEA looks forward to more workshops and collaborative efforts to build a greener, more resilient future for Zagreb.
