In the first project year, the Rebuilt project partners created concept notes (see D1.1.1-4) for different target audiences: Industry and SMEs, Government and Public Servants, Architects and Investors, University and Vocational students.

The concept notes were based on a comprehensive state-of-the-art study carried out in all nine countries. Relevant stakeholders within the Rebuilt project consortium met online to generate ideas and develop a concept note for the training programme based on their expertise and experience. The aim of ReBuilt is to involve all relevant stakeholders, while continuously adapting the planned training programmes and obtaining valuable feedback. Four transnational online stakeholder consultation workshops were therefore organised for each target group. During the events, the ReBuilt project was introduced, followed by the presentation of the training programmes. In the second phase of the workshop, stakeholders provided feedback through questionnaires. The feedback was discussed openly, and the participants were involved in the discussion.

Transnational online workshops were held for each target group to refine the training programme. These workshops included presentations on ReBuilt and its tailored training programme concept note, followed by discussions in which participants provided feedback through questionnaires. The input was openly discussed and used to adapt the final version of the ‘Fit for Circular and Digital Construction’ training programme.

Key findings from the workshops included:

·        Tailoring to needs: The workshops helped to tailor the training programmes to the specific needs of each target group.

·        Defining key competences: Discussions during the workshops helped identify the missing and required knowledge and skills for circularity and digitalisation in construction, ensuring that the training content is relevant to the future needs of the industry for the transition to circularity and digitalisation in construction.

·        Fostering innovation: Participants shared information on needs and suggested modules to promote innovation and adaptability in circular and digital construction.

·        Supporting the circular economy: The workshops highlighted the need to integrate circular, digital and sustainable practices into education programmes to support the transition to a circular economy.

·        Improving business competitiveness: The training programmes contribute to improving the market competitiveness of companies by involving them in the co-creation of training content and offering them the possibility to participate at a later stage.

·        Building networks: The workshops facilitate collaboration and networking between stakeholders, paving the way for partnerships and innovative projects in the circular and digitalised construction sector.
