TASK4ISI project and ISIHUB Poland representatives at the CIRIEC networking meeting

On 10 December 2024, representatives of the TASK4ISI project and the Inclusive and Sustainable Innovation Hub (ISIHUB) participated in an information meeting on the creation of the Polish section of the international CIRIEC network. The event took place at the University of Agriculture in Krakow and brought together participants from various sectors, including scientists, representatives of public administration, and practitioners involved in the development of the social and public economy.

The meeting began with the presentation of general information on CIRIEC, an international organization that has been operating since 1947 for the research and promotion of the public, social, and cooperative economy. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the extensive network of scientific cooperation CIRIEC, which brings together more than 1200 experts and scientists from 40 countries. The event program also included detailed discussions of opportunities for international cooperation and the benefits of participating in this network.

Representatives of TASK4ISI and ISIHUB presented the achievements of Krakow University of Economics in the field of social economy and the activities carried out under the project. The importance of international cooperation for building innovative solutions that support social entrepreneurship and regional development was emphasized.

Participation in the meeting allowed representatives of TASK4ISI and ISIHUB Poland to establish valuable contacts with other stakeholders, as well as to recognize opportunities for future cooperation within the Polish section of CIRIEC. It was also an opportunity to exchange experiences and be inspired by good practices in the field of social and public economy. The event was a step toward better embedding ISIHUB’s activities in the international context and strengthening its position as a key center for supporting social entrepreneurship in Krakow and Malopolska.
