Last week, the SuPeRBE technical partner ČVUT UCEEB (Czech Technical University in Prague, University Centre of Energy from Energy Efficient Buildings), in collaboration with the local partner Městská část Praha 5, hosted the first Local Advisory Group (LAG) meeting to discuss the SuPeRBE Project platform. The meeting brought together key stakeholders in climate adaptation for Prague and the Czech Republic, whose expertise is essential for refining and advancing the platform, since they may be potential final users.

The LAG included representatives from:

• Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Praha)

• Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU)

• Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic

• Operator ICT (OICT)

• Czech Chamber of Architects (CKA)

• Charles University

Following a brief introduction to the project and LAG members, participants were presented with a draft version of the SuPeRBE platform. Expert feedback was gathered on its potential applications. The discussions provided valuable insights into how the platform can best support climate adaptation strategies and urban resilience, its potential improvement and refinement.

During the meeting, participants explored the platform’s key offerings:

• Access to the SuPeRBE Project website

• Link to the Train4Sustain Project E-learning platform

• Wiki Page compiling climate adaptation tools and methodologies for Czechia and Central Europe

• Resilient Built Environment Tool for Central Europe (RBETool – CE) – A rating system adaptable to specific locations in Central Europe, allowing users to customize benchmarks, select criteria, and conduct assessments at the building or neighbourhood scale, integrating GIS models and climate data.

In the final part of the meeting, the next steps for further platform development were outlined, emphasizing the importance of continued stakeholder collaboration.
