Date: 01.04.2025

The 26th Spring International Bjelovar Fair, one of the largest agricultural fairs in Croatia, was held from March 27 to 30, 2025, at the Gudovac fairgrounds near Bjelovar. This year’s edition gathered more than 400 exhibitors from Croatia and abroad, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in agriculture, construction, and horticulture.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore a wide range of agricultural machinery, tools, and equipment. The specialized fairs for horticulture (HOROP) and construction and municipal equipment (GRO-KO) attracted significant interest. Additionally, traditional exhibitions of horses and small animals were held, along with numerous presentations of domestic products and equipment.

One of the main attractions of this year’s fair was the exhibition of drones designed for precision agriculture. Visitors could witness demonstrations of drones used for crop monitoring, soil analysis, and precise agricultural spraying. Experts presented the latest models and technologies, emphasizing the advantages of automation in modern agriculture. Panel discussions on the future of drones in agriculture and regulatory aspects of their use also sparked great interest.

The Bjelovar Fair once again offered educational content for visitors, featuring expert lectures, workshops, and panels on current topics in agriculture and rural development.

The University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (UNIZG FSB) took advantage of this fair to conduct several surveys among manufacturing companies and technology providers for precision agriculture.
