As part of the INACO project, a study visit was organised in the Troja district of Prague. Our Czech partner, the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics CAS, provided an in-depth overview of the area’s current situation, emphasizing the flood risk that this part of the city faces. The history of flooding in Prague was presented, highlighting key events.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to see the flood protection infrastructure implemented after the devastating 2002 flood. This new infrastructure is designed to safeguard cultural heritage sites in the district, including Troja Chateau.
