Project idea is to create one unique and united governance model of WWI heritage which will improve its use and effectively strengthen the cross-border cooperation and regional/local development. How to do it effectively? We need to listen people around – enthusiasts, historicians, researchers and managers of WW heritage in local and regional space – we need to involve stakeholders.
To hear their remarks and opinions project partners organized a series of local and regional workshops in their countries where they analysed the potential, current status, barriers/problems as well as needs.
While gathering feedback we saw many similarities as well as some differences. But generally we can summarize the stakeholders perspective on WW1 heritage by indicating the most important issues and remarks (see below)
